Taylor is in a position where She can never win with Her love life so far as the press / public is concerned. They said She dated too much, so She stayed single for a year; they still said She dated too much. They said She couldn't keep a man, so She made a relationship last a year. As soon as it ended, it was the same old "She dates too much and can't keep a man" song and dance. I think that She realized that at some point recently, and now She's just doing whatever She wants.
Also, I can't help but feel like we—the ATRL fans—helped set the stage for all of this speculation about the "realness" of Her relationship with Tom, given that we've spent years saying Her past relationships were for PR.

Era, Vision, Retro, Ace Reject, supaspaz, Bloomers all like / love Her.
I can think of no actual haters on the mod SQUAD since you-know-who was removed.

I hope She opens up about some of Her other ghostwriting on the promo campaign. It would be a
far more interesting (and beneficial) topic matter than anything else that they could ask Her about. I already get the sense that the next promo campaign will be full of questions from the press "respond to Katy," "respond to Calvin," "respond to Kanye," "respond to criticisms that you're greedy," "respond to critiques of your weak grasp on feminism." It would be obnoxious and disastrous.
She
needs to make the discussion center around the music as much as She can.
