It's not confirmed, but it's expected. No VP is ever announced on the floor of the convention.

Warren would do that, sure. I will be excited for her. But I'm just going based off what insiders are saying. Hillary really wants a Senate majority, someone with foreign policy knowledge, someone who won't overshadow her, and can have a great relationship/chemistry with. And now the announcement of her getting a speaking time on the 1st day is their way of quietly letting us know it's not her.

What both lacks, the other benefits. So I wouldn't say Warren or Kaine would be ideal. IMO, Tom Perez is a mix of both. Your opinion on him? She just has to go with her gut which I'm sure she'll do.

Is he a poor speaker? He seemed alright in the vids I saw.

If Trump picks Newt, Hillary will have to choose a good debater/speaker. Not sure any of the candidates fit the bill.

I'm relieved that this day came. Thankfully, November is still far away so Bernie fans will have enough time to process things and switch to Hillary. If the election were held this week, most of those Bernie or Bust folks probably would write him. But a few months gives them time to come around.

Kaine is a smart reasonable Christian who has a lot of experience. He isn't the crazy we've accustomed ourselves too this election, but at least you can be safe to assume he'll be a great POTUS day one.
