I think your confused. It's usually when an artist releases that their fans' activity go up in SYG cause haters have less than intelligent things to say about them.
When Britney releases, the Army will be on overtime in SYG. Same with Katy, Gaga, and P!nk when they release. It's kind of a simple pattern to detect, don't know how you had it so confused.
