I don't think he's that pathetic to fake this situation - I suspect the original plan somehow resulted in him coming out to his parents to be more appealing to me or something zany like that (he had previously said ages ago he thought he would never tell his parents and I said he was insane and he had to some day) - but not like this.
They seemed so lovely and sweet, who knew they were raging homophobes underneath. To think I took a day off work to tour them around my city.
