I really....I'm at a loss for words. My stomach literally turned.

That...was a human being. One that was clearly subdued. And they shot him. Point blank, they shot him. The blood and...his face,as he lay there covered in a pool of his own blood.

It makes you feel like there's nothing good or trustworthy left in the world. that the people who are meant to protect us are more than willing to take a life at the drop of a hat. Like the badges that entrust them with our security also give them the power to obliterate lives like this.

I am just at a loss of words. I hope those 2 cops suffer.

I watched the video with my hand covering most of the screen and even that was to much.. I'm disgusted and embarrassed with how blacks are treated in america and the entire police force itself.. I can't help but feel I want to fight for the people of America and I don't even live there. How do Americans keep letting these police officers do this.. you guys need to fight harder against these things and don't stop until there are laws that protect you from these corrupt pigs. Praying for this man and his family. Rip

I'm appalled that people are even trying to make excuses for the cops here. After watching the video, there was no reason to shoot him. He was pinned to the ground by TWO cops who - judging by their build - were strong enough to keep him pinned. If they felt threatened, they should have used a taser to subdue him while he was pinned. Hell, they should have just used pepper spray. He'd never get to his gun while his eyes were burning.

This is sick.

To me, it DOES seems like he was trying to to reach for his gun in his pocket, but also the cop was extremely nervous and possibly unprepared. He thought he and his partner were in danger and pulled the trigger. He should lose his badge, but I don't think he deserves to be prosecuted.

Do you think we're out here giving our tax money to cops to not have a clear mind in these situations and be nervous and unprepared? **** no.

He acted inappropriately and it led to the death of an innocent. He deserves to be prosecuted. People have been prosecuted for much less.

I could be totally wrong, but the usual human reaction is to show empathy towards the victim or towards the ones who are left behind. Or at the very least, to be saddend that a human life was lost.

His father-in-law makes it pretty clear that he is a racist. Straight to the point and he doesn't even try to mask it.
