The reason I was doubting is this:

BAD ROMANCE was #9 before the video (not #19 like TELEPHONE). The video sent it up to #3. But it wasnt #1 until GOSSIP GIRL. The morning after GG, it went to #1.

I wa thinking that but it got a huge lead after Gossip Girl and we can't credit GG for all of that, I mean it's a dying show I think the video was accountable for a lot of that lead created, gossip girl for another chunk, and then being #1 so people saw it for another.
