finally got home & got to listen to both SVT's and BEAST's new stuff finally lol

'Nice' is kinda typical Seventeen vibes for me but still very new for them. i love the disco, funky feel throughout the beginning and into the whole song (when they were counting down in the beginning it lowkey gave me 'Fergalicious' vibes so i had to love it even more lol). it's a all around explosive song with a really energetic chorus that i just instantly fell for. and the video is just, it's so damn wonderful
they do a really good way of highlighting most of the members and their bits times to shine & i appreciate that. being a 13 member group aint no joke lol so im glad they go out like that. even tho its a mess how ive been stanning them and watching most of their interviews, etc and i can literally only tell you 4-5 members names

). im excited to listen to their mini because this lead is just >>>. it also goes by so damn fast, i wish it was 4:45 minutes instead of 3
'Ribbon' is very dark & sexy to me and i love that. it's such a interesting contrast from SVT's upbeat, fun pop to BEAST's more dark, mature ballad vibes lead and that's great! i love the variety they bring and they do it so well i can't help but not love it honestly. throughout the whole song it gave me highkey 'Purpose' vibes (Justin Bieber's album) dealing with the production. it's a bit electronic to me but also not too much where it feels upbeat. and it gives me slow ballad vibes but its not quite a ballad. its mid-tempo for sure but leans that direction for me honestly. and i have to through it out there, Gikwang stole the show for me and im claiming him. he's lips and just whole presence alone >>> (every member is fine tho so they can all come & get it tbh).
for me, both songs slay and slay HARD. im even more excited for the live shows cause i know their both gonna kill it
so damn proud & excited for them and their comebacks. i have a feeling 'Nice' is gonna have a smaller scale success of 'Call Me Baby' tbh. i just know it.
