#1 =/= hit Anaconda & Drunk In Love both peaked at #2 yet the both outsold Work which peaked at #1. Do you now see your flawed logic?

A massive 9 week #1 will ALWAYS be bigger than a #2 peaking song whatever its sales are, that's just a proof of how sales declined those last years and how streaming is getting bigger and bigger.

Drake making crossover music with his brand, artistry, integrity and quality in tact should be celebrated. Especially, if the album and streaming is doing well. It's not like it's one or the other.

I just said that the streaming component of the Billboard 200 chart isn't fair to artists that are selling more than Views. Lemonade was the best selling album this week so it should've been #1.

I've complained about albums doing inordinately well with tea/sea than actual album sales since the rule first changed.
I even made a thread about albums in the t10 of sales that weren't t10 with sps, and vice versa. But it's true that others didn't care as much before.
LOL you aren't going to lecture me on this. Hip-hop is about classic bodies of work. I've never once seen a hip-hop fan talk about hits or singles.

We can't change the formula even though sales should have a bigger part in it and the way streaming is counting in is questionable...But so what? At the end of the day pure sales rack in way more money than streaming. All the album selling artists can be proud of that. But it doesn't matter.
All of them Bey, Rih and Drake are doing amazing - no matter how. And i'm sure none of them are fuming because of the other. They are all making money. These kind of threads always draw the most pressed stans from both sides in.
