Anyways... That thread Noah posted is ridiculous. The fact that people have the nerve to criticize her music when it sh*ts on their faves' entire discographies is so pathetic. And it makes me so mad that they're trying to downplay the quality of 25 because it's "safe." Most of them loved it when it first came out anyways. I will never understand ATRL's hate for Adele. I get it, she f**ked over your faves' careers, but maybe if they'd keep it classy, they wouldn't be flops.

I listened OAO album version first time in a couple of time and it sounds so different to me now Her new voice is so so much better and changed the song for me completely

I'll say this, there's no doubt 21 is a classic. But it sounds so much older to me then everything else that came out at that time. If I'd never heard of Adele and I was listening to 21 for the first time, and you told me that it was made in the 70's, I'd believe you, because it sounds old. UpTown Funk is the same, and it sounds extremely old to me, like it's a 60's song. Also, Somebody That I Used To Know is another example of a recent song that sounds old, even though I used to love it. There are songs I used to love, but they age horribly on me, and sound way older then they actually are which makes it unlistenable for me, most of 21 is like that. 25's a bit more modern though, but not in the way I wanted to be. And none of these songs feel old because of overplay, just the way they sound, and I can't describe it. They all sound so dated and old. Like they're 30-60 year old songs that somehow aren't. It's weird.

Also, just because something sounds old, doesn't mean it's a classic. Why can't newer sounding songs be regarded as classics too? If anyone deserves to be called a classic, it's Adele. But I wish we had more modern-sounding artists that were classics too. When I hear the words "Classic album" I just think "Oh, this is going to be old and boring but just because it's old/sounds old everyone's going to think it's the greatest thing ever" UpTown Funk teas. I don't like old music.

Yeah, as I was reading it, I thought it had some valid points, but then I was like... "Nah, bruv, nah." (Sorry, I don't have a GIF of her saying that from the other night! ) I get what he's saying about more modern music being considered classic, but honestly... What main pop artists nowadays are even trying to make timeless music? There are very few, and Adele is the only standout with music that is truly timeless and appeals to all ages.

I saw that! A lot of promo CDs have been popping up on eBay! There's three "Someone Like You" CD singles up there right now! If the price drops on any of them, I may snatch one! That's a ridiculous price for that, though.... Besides, it's not even worth it; wait until the "Set Fire to the Rain" promo CD in the PVC sleeve with the official artwork pops up. That one's one of my favorites from my collection, and it shows up on eBay every now and then!

Also, I'm freaking out... My "Send My Love" CD was supposed to come between June 20 and today, and it's still not here. I ordered a CD a few months ago and it got lost in the mail; I hope that's not the case again! I also live on the north side of a street, but there's someone with the same house number on the south side that gets my mail sometimes, and they never give it to us... If they have my f**king CD, I'm going to kick some asses.
