To this day, it boggles me how scared everyone gets once Hive threatens to include DC numbers. Like the group was literally Beyoncé and y'all are acting like the receipts don't matter because then you'd literally have NOTHING

Well since we are including groups then I am happy to announce that I stan Joey Fatone. He has outsold all our faves with an estimated 117 million albums WW

Who's scared ? The group wasn't only Beyoncé, they were other members. It's two different acts, notice how one is a group, and the other is a solo act, yeah ?

The last time Britney was a threat was in 2009. That was seven years ago. And even before Circus, she wasn't even big in music since In The Zone, which was released in late 2003. Beyonce had a hit album/era in 2003, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013 and now 2016. This isn't even including her DC albums.
It's not 2012 anymore where we can say "Britney is DEF going to come back and slay!" type of thing. She's over in terms of having great commercial success, whereas Beyonce is still strong as ever.

I definitely see the reason why you would want to hold them separately, but Beyoncé has spent a lot of years in that group and it is a major part of her career. For her to not benefit from this in either way is plain ridiculous. Not to mention that this wasn't just ANY girl group, it is literally most known for how how much prominent Bey was in it and how completely useless the other girls were.

Another thing that I don't understand is why the weak ass Hive on this server even gives a **** about what the rest of you think. Just count the numbers as Bey's receipts and get on with it. It's something Bey would do.

Well not my fault if Matthew thought that project Beyoncé had to start in a group
There's no denying Beyoncé stood out. But it's a group, not a solo act
Not you doing Kelly like that though

Please tell me in what world this makes sense:
Dangerously In Love: June 24, 2003
10,100,000
August 28, 2003 VMA Awards
Destiny Fulfilled: November 10, 2004
6,500,000
October 25, 2004 Radio Music Awards
#1s: October 25, 2005
3,700,000
February 19, 2006 NBA All Star
B'Day: September 4, 2006
6,200,000
June 27, 2006 BET Awards
This is clearly not a Diana Ross/Supremes, JT/N'Sync, and MJ/Jackson 5 clean break situation. She was active with both acts, at the same time. Running promo and putting out music simultaneously. So it doesn't make sense to count sales some years and not other years.

When did Beyoncé start her career? With DC.
Then it's part of her career.

All my friends and I are reminiscing pop girls
We all agreed Godney is queen and my friends all said they liked Gaga until the motorbike shtick and I wanna be with you was her last good song
Gaga her unreleased > her released
Take Me Out is a bop

I remember I watched the planet of the apes movie a long time ago and I really thought Janet was the nice ape lady because it looked like her. I didn't mean anything racist by it when I cosigned it.

Exactly. She's both acts.
DC is Beyonce and Beyonce is DC. I mean, one of her #1s is...
"from the album B'Day and #1s"
So like...
