Well, it looks like due to a legal complexity, leaving the EU will require Scottish Parliament consent, as they are bound to follow EU laws and will need to agree to withdraw from these laws.
If the Scottish Parliament rejects it, then the UK can't start the withdrawal process.

Scotland would be kicked out of the UK sooner than they could vote to leave if they tried to overturn the will of the people of England & Wales.
I guess that's why people of England and Wales fought so bad against Scottish independence...

Apparently Section 29 is a Westminster act so UK Parliament would change it, not Scotland's local MPs BUT that would fan the independence flames more. Westminster is stuck even more between a rock and a hard place.
And can England just kick Scotland out? I doubt it is that easy.
I was half joking tbh It's not as easy as just saying it, but the Scottish Parliament attempting to block a democratic UK vote would provoke a constitutional crisis unlike any other.

Changing it would require a vote in the House of Commons no? And considering most politicians were against leaving - and the SNP has like 50 seats too - it's likely they won't vote to change it. That way they don't get the blood on their hands, but they still prevent it
To be honest, I don't think that Section 29 means anything. It only binds the Scottish Parliament to EU *law*, not to the EU. So I guess you could be out of the EU and still technically follow EU law.

That's a bit problematic since if that's the case it'll work out better for Scotland because they want their independence and thus rejoin the EU.

We don't actually know that yet. Scotland had turnout 10% lower than England and 20% less than their independence referendum. For a lot of people, the United Kingdom could mean a lot more than the European Union.

Yes, but that's just how one person interpreted the law. It does not explicitly say Brexit needs the consent of the Scottish Parliament. Besides, it's a Westminster law so it can be changed if Nicola causes a fuss.
