TBH, this stupid outrage y'all have shouldn't be directed at Kanye. All these comments should be directed towards SOCIETY'S image of women & why it's seen as bad.
If anything, Kanye is pushing the envelope and normalizing nudity. You people think it's a horrible thing to show a woman topless, when in reality, that just makes y'all look sexist.

The reason why its an issue with Taylor is because of the lyrics of the song where he says they could have sex and takes credit for her career, which she openly spoke out about. And now he's using a nude look alike for the same song in a clear attempt to degrade or embarrass her for being against the lyric in the first place.
Ya'll will use any excuse to try and bash feminism or SJW though, so embarrassing

it's not to degrade or embarrass her. his wife and friends like rihanna and anna are depicted in the same way, along with ofc himself lol.
the video is a comment on fame itself, there's no attacks at any celebs in it

Isn't part of feminism the whole #FreeTheNipple movement? If he's able to put shirtless men in the video with no qualms, why does it matter that there's a shirtless woman in the bed? Why does Taylor Swift being naked make her look bad? These are the questions you whack ass SJWs should be asking.
If Kanye were in the bed with 10 shirtless/naked male celebs, no one would care. But since there's topless women, it's a huge deal? I don't understand

Yeah, when they free it themselves, not a man doing it for them without consent. In society, that's called sexual assault. And it doesn't make her look bad, but it's her role in all of this, and how SHE feels about this. She's never made an attempt to show herself naked, so why should Kanye West do it for her? He didn't even show himself naked, it makes me wonder about what type of power balance he is betraying? He has a naked Taylor next him, unconscious and he's woke at the end - nowhere near as much flesh showing. Is this him showing his dominance to Taylor? Literally exposing her? These types of questions are what people with rational thoughts are asking. It's not even SJWs. When your video is that mundane and vague, you're forced to ask yourself these things.

Oh but most people in this whack ass thread are making comments of him using Taylor Swift's naked body to embarrass her when there's nothing to be embarrassed about.
Blah Blah blah the lyrics. You can say what you want, but the lyrics have nothing to do with why people are upset about the video.
If you truly think the topless Taylor Swift shown is degrading her image or embarrassing her, you're part of the problem. You think Kanye is sexist, when in reality, it's you.

Indeed! This video is a landmark. I hope it gets the praise it deserves down the road... It's truly fascinating.

So there's people actually claiming this is other thing than Kanye begging for attention?

OH WAIT, SO NOW IT'S AN ISSUE. When has a man ever consented to be shown topless? You think it makes Look Chris Brown look worst being topless? Ray J? The answer is NO. Therefore, it shouldn't be like that for women either. Kanye is normalizing society's nude standards and it's working. You should be unphased by topless Taylor Swift. She wasn't shown in any negative way. She wasn't having sex with Kanye or anyone else.
Kanye showed just as much of himself as he did Taylor, so
It's not a big deal that they're naked & Kanye is pushing societal norms by depicting that. Legend

"Kanye is normalizing society"
He is desperate for attention, nothing else.
The video was fun & messy though. We can give him that.

Of course he's begging for attention, wtf. That's why he's in the business. Why the hell else would he sell tickets at a huge price and show it on a live stream for people to see. It's an event and he wants all eyes on him. He wants people talking and he got just that.
This is literally what every single one of our faves want: attention and recognition for their work & craft. Don't get it twisted.

Lmao someone asked me in Tumblr for my thoughts on the video so i'll just paste it here...
The video seems to be inspired by a famous painting called “Sleep” by Vincent Desiderio.
I think that what Kanye was intending to do in this video is to showcase A-list celebrities who are swarmed by the paps. They’re all well-known and have played a part in Kanye’s life. These celebs are literally naked to convey the idea that they are exposed to the public eye so Kanye tried to get that message across that “since the paps wanna try and barge into our private lives, then i’ll show them us naked” for their pleasure. It’s described as the aftermath of an A-list orgy according to tabloids.. so it’s definitely causing a buzz and fuels the rumours that the elite have these “secret meetings” (goes with the whole Illuminati jab)
However, I find it disgusting fact that Trump, Cosby (who is an alleged rapist! YIKES and who Kanye defended last time in a tweet “Bill Cosby is innocent”) , and CHRIS BROWN who assaulted Rihanna is next to her!!! He clearly just did it to be controversial and provoke people. And I’m not even shocked that Taylor Swift is there since she’s mentioned in the lyrics, i cant believe she’s even next to Kanye. He really went there!
It is very controversial and distasteful. But Kanye is no stranger to controversy so i’m certain this is what he intended. I’m just stunned that he really did this. I wonder how all of these celebrities will react tbh. And are they really wax figures??? They all look so real and even breathing.. like I don’t even know what to say. I’m not gonna praise it definitely cause it’s in bad taste, and I didn’t like it, I definitely didnt need to see some of those people naked. It’s a huge mess in epic proportions and this will be talked about the following days and weeks.

I don't think Taylor being topless has much to do with the lyrics dissing her, but more to do with the overall concept of the video. Kool Aid is right. Viewing exposed breasts as a violation (especially when the breasts aren't even really Taylor's) says more about us than it does about Kanye.

Some of y'all are SO deluded
He literally has an open beef against Taylor Swift and y'all are claiming that he's "normalizing society"
Get real, he just wanted to get attention & rile up Taylor Swift to create even more controversy.
There's nothing wrong with that though, just don't delude yourselves & try to mask it as something else.
