I'm sick of these facebook videos from news websites interviewing leave voters and all of them being middle aged, toothless and having a very strong accent, barely sounding English and justifying their vote by "immigrants" and "all the poles" one man eloquently put. I really hate the older generation especially after this

I'm already sick to death of this whole referendum. Nationalism is such an ugly concept and declaring today 'independence' day sickens me to the core. I'm also tired with people complaining about the results, it's democracy, get over yourselves. It saddens me to see Britain so divided and there's blame on both sides. This level of toxicity and miasma in the atmosphere is giving me a headache.

Why did Cameron offer a EU referendum if he wants to remain? He wanted to win popularity points. He could've just as easily, like your typical politician, retracted his statement of giving a referendum. It's the fact that ordinary people are disillusioned by our current government and so turn to nationalistic parties like UKIP and Britain First. I don't blame people for wanting change. The liberals slating those who voted leave are part of the problem.
I don't think the overly dramatic pessimism in this thread helps anybody either.

Seriously though, I think it'll just be Britain. No United, no Great.

But Cameron is Conservative.. the very group that have asked for a referendum for over two decades..
He pandered to Conservatives to win the election offering something he didn't want.
Those political arguments to Leave the EU were majorly right-wing, at least led by people from.
How can the left-wing, Remain and previous PMs as well as Labour-led leaders prior to Cameron be disillusioned?
The government now is Conservative. It's about to become more so than ever. Not less.
So yes, they are to blame as they caused it. It's not a coincidence that both Thatcher and Cameron are conservatives causing two of the most economical meltdowns in British history.

Angela will make sure that England regrets this choice to show other countries that it is not smart to jump the ship.

and it's just not her who will make sure of that even the EU parliament leader wants the UK out of the EU as soon as possible already. They will collectively decimate the UK, that's for sure.

- I was talking about the remain campaign at being fault and Cameron spearheaded that.
- I was talking about the disillusionment of the public to our current government. The people of Britain are tired of not having their troubles answered by the government. It's no surprise they ate up every word of the nationalists campaigning for leave.

Another interesting thing is that if Scotland managed to have their independence albeit have a strong case to rejoin the EU, Spain would give them a hard time and never approve them in order to prevent Catalonia's independence. In order to join the EU, it has to be unanimously approved by each country.

Can you imagine an independent Scotland without the help of the EU. It's going to be really messy.

You are a disgusting, and judgemental person.
You know, majority of self-made millionaires out there never flaunt their wealth, and often dress up as the same people as you described, because they have nothing else to prove, and they are more sensible with money and rather invest their money on things that'll make money work for them, unlike you, who is probably some white twink indulged in consumerism and buying all these brand items to make yourself feel better and make you look well off.
Next time you see a "toothless" Briton, you should look up to them, and don't judge them by their clothing. You should be wondering what kind of businesses they run, often times they're going to be fish merchants, farmers, and people who run successful business, which have seen slow growths in the last twenty years because of the strict regulations imposed by the EU.
Fish merchants, can't take their businesses to the level, because EU is preventing them to fish in their own waters, farmers can use the lands to grow livelihood stocks. And this is what fueled their anger to vote leave, is because they are being metaphorically thrown out of their own land and country, and unable to use the resources that truly belong to them, to you, and to the British people.
I just don't understand why you 17-24 year old millennials don't get it. You blame it on the older generations, calling them racists, xenophobes, bigots. Shame on you. Give these people more respect.
These are the same people who fought wars, so you can roam freely with your twinkle toes on the streets, and not worry about Nazi regime, these are the same people who built Britain, these are the same people who have live throughout the worst economic outputs in periods of times, they have lived and seen what the EU has done to regress the quality of ordinary people. They know how good life was before the EU.
And this is why they voted Leave. They just know better, because they have experienced both the ups and downs of history.
Next time you see a toothless farmer who is barely understandable with that kind of accent, you should thank them for fighting for UK, for your rights, and for your future.
Gosh, you are so ungrateful about life.

I don't see why it's ungrateful to be mad at older people making a decision like this
It affects us more than anyone else

Also "so you can roam freely with your twinkle toes on the streets" is rude and unnecessary as hell, not sure why you're acting high and mighty with comments like that put in there.
