You picked the wrong ass time to start... unless you're living for the drama. I think situations like this turn off first time people away from politics. Overall I find it be a very amazing, intriguing process. As an American, Brexit left me scared and uncertain for the future of the world. It will even somewhat affect our current election. And to think several years from now I'll be able to see however things are then, and compare it to fears and expectations from this point of time. In major stakes events, like elections and this referendum, we are able to see how one decision basically guided the human path. Truly frightening yet utmost fascinating is how I view politics

True. Although what I'm finding interesting in GB politics is how similar they are to ours. At least in terms of political fractures on several levels (government and local). I only vaguely follow the elections just to maintain some self awareness but overall, I have a lot of distaste for the absolute corruption in the system.

Corruption in politics is especially annoying. In several instances it seems that common people and sometime even elites are simply powerless to stop it unless some major paradigm shift occur.
