Which exact people are you referring to?
17.4 million voted to Leave whilst 16.1 million to Remain. 13 million didn't vote. Population is 64 million of which 46 million were eligible. In areas with multiculturalism and diverse people (including the economic, financial and cultural capital of the world, London) there was clear indication of more votes to Remain whilst the middle of England, further from the major cities, largely not affected by immigration want to Leave, and some are as ruthless to ask the migrants living here to also.
Furthermore, it was the young voting in and the old voting out. We're the generation of people who are more accepting of differences and have contributed greatly to social activism to better our future, laws, society, etc.
What are we supposed to say to those statistics?
