People have been asking for some time, why should the US, the UK and France be a permanent members of the UN Security Council rather than say India and South Africa.

Obviously the US is a major economy and France is a major EU member, but why no African or South Asian countries?

Since the UK could soon be just England+Wales, does it really have a valid place?

We are clearly not united, the results of this referendum show the enormous divide between the opinion of the Scottish people and that of the rest of the UK. The situation has massively changed since the independence referendum, the change should be reflected in Scotland being given another chance to decide on its future.

I still don't think a majority would want to leave the UK and be independent, and no the EU is not the only thing keeping us here. We've been together a whole lot longer than the EU has even existed.

I agree, this is also why I'm campaigning for the abolition of elections. The majority spoke, we've elected the Tories and we must live with that decision for eternity regardless of changing circumstances and what the new majority of the country think.

It's also why this referendum is irrelevant. We already voted 75% to remain in Europe in 1975, it's disgusting that the establishment forced us to vote on the issue again yesterday. Whilst we're at it scrap the Welsh parliament, they voted No in 1979.

The South Asian Commonwealth countries are starting to do quite well too. Perhaps there is a case to remove the UK England+Wales from the UN Security Council and put India there instead.

It doesn't matter about whether or not it would happen or not, the point is that we deserve the chance to have our voice heard above that of the English voter.
