This is so true as well.

It's not just a UK thing, either. It happens a lot from what I've experienced where I live. There's this real split with regards to education and also urban/rural. People in the cities always seem to forget that it's the people in the provinces that really have the numbers. Firing insults off at them and polarising the discussion to the point that they almost want to vote against "the educated establishment" just to get back at people is not going to get anyone anywhere.

tbh, after the last general election and now this, nothing about the way this country thinks surprises me any more. jeremy is everything politics needs, too bad the right wing media has such a stranglehold over public opinion.

Why are people acting like old people aren't entitled to vote on the future of the UK too?

They've lived and served for this country a lot longer than us, and some could have at least 20-50 more years on this planet so why aren't they entitled to vote towards the future

It's tedious how the losing side are criticising over 50s for having the right to vote yet also bragging that their parents voted to stay in the EU

Bottom line: The older generation have just as much right to vote as any of us.

He just truly cares, I don't think he ever aspired to be leader he just stepped up when the country needed him.

Labour are gonna lose more voters if they do this because not only will they lose the idiots who jumped ship to UKIP, they'll lose all the left wing voters who have only just had their confidence restored in Labour to the Greens.
