2b. I also keep reading that racism and bigotry was a cause in the vote to exit. Is this accurate? If true, how was racism and bigotry used as a driving force? What was some of the propoganda? What is the exit supposed to "prevent"?
I have more questions, but I'll see how those few go.
UK workers will lose rights derived from the EU. And if anyone thinks the ****ing Tory party will grant workers the same rights, you're delusional. A Brexit Minister of State even said herself that she's voting leave so workers' rights can be scaled back.
It won't work like that, they're still enshrined in UK law- it's a case of making them more vulnerable to attacks from Tories than us losing on exit. Which is still an issue, but it would be very unpopular for them to go for workers rights, so it's definitely not for certain.
.... impending disaster for the world’s fifth-largest economy could be the next round of the rolling crisis that started with U.S. subprime, crushed Lehman and then the eurozone before flattening emerging markets. Each showed the weaknesses in the global economy, and prompted proper arm-waving panic before central banks got them under control (Which took years.)
