Why would they go against the will of the people? That's political suicide. I can't think of one politician in a free republican government that will do that.

Republicans can change zoning laws, ID laws, etc. that make it harder for Hispanic citizens to vote. Gerrymandering, etc.
Well if Hillary wins, not only will she get immigration reform passed, she would appoint Supreme Court justices who will oppose gerrymandering, uphold her and Obama's executive actions and overturn Citizens United.
I heard Sinn Fein wants a referendum on that.
