It's perfectly pleasant but just... boring. Ultra repetitive and doesn't go anywhere. It's certainly not terrible, Kelis stopped putting outright terrible songs on her albums as of late but unfortunately there's a lot of middle-ground songs on them. Decent and nothing more.
Diarrhoea continues to give commentary that suggests lower scores than he actually gave, "This is just über-repetitive and still completely unmemorable. I forget what it sounds like 5 mins after every time I listen to it." Eeveelution comes to much of the same conclusion, "I always think this is gonna scalp me, but...it's a little repetitive? Still a bop tho!" Latinazza isn't having it though, calling "damn generic trash." A cackle, poor Kxvk.

I can't give mean scores to artists I not only like but actively root for.

22nd Century is great but it could have done with more happening in it.

Very uplifting and my early favourite from the album, this is a nice and pleasant (count how many times I've used that word) track that didn't grow on me as much over time but still is quite alright. The chorus is a big earworm but I rarely listen to the full thing, it's a bit of a trek. The ending is very beautiful though.
No comments either!

Another cut from the second, weaker half of the album, but this one is cool. The production and the male vocals (probably Pharrell, queer) especially. Catchy and funky, this one grew on me even now, after years of listening. It goes on a slight bit but not excessively. Still if I had to kill another Kaleidoscope track then this would probably be it.
Wait, In The Morning is still in?!
Diarrhoea is another fan of phantom Pharrell on this track, "The sex noises, the production, the guy, the timing of it all >>> such a good song."

Fittingly, the Top 40 will be unveiled on Page 40.
Unfortunately, the song that misses it does not make me happy. With the most tens of any track so far.

Girl... what? Why is one of the best songs on the album down here? Below In Pubic?! I'm outraged.
Ugh, proving that The Neptunes were not going to be outshined by Dallas Austin or Saadiq, they gave Kelis this ultra bop for the end of the album. I hated this for a long time, thought it was complete filler but it really is a beauty of a track once it grows on you. It's a lot less in-your-face than The Neptunes usual works and it works really well here, but you still hear shades of it on the chorus. The length works for her on this one. Kelis is truly an icon of unification, the suburbs to the ghetto.
Universal praise in the comments, Diarrhoea complimenting it on "one of the best productions on the album! I also really love the structure of the song, especially in the second half." Right, it only gets better. Eevee was in a drought of hating this album but her light shone thru, "Finally a good sing, the instrumental reminds me of Animal Crossing <3" Animal Crossing is not the benchmark for videogame music, but I guess it's better than saying Sonic Chronicles... Doogle calls out those nappy sub-6 scores I see up there, "Such a fun song, I don't get how anyone could hate it." They don't love themselves and, even worse, forgot who God is.
Baby tomorrow...
