EXO's album only had 3 or 4 days of sales in the tracking week it was released in. This makes sense.

wow, it feels like so long since release, that I thought it must've had a full week.
Even so, GaOn>Hanteo.

well then explain where the numbers came from?
She sold 17.6k in her 3 biggest markets. Where did 30k come from?
If your answer is "she's global" then you don't understand how sales work.

From the rest of the world?
I don't know what logic you're talking about but 3 biggest markets don't mean everything. Like, she could sell 4k in Mexico and 5k in Brazil for example (it's just an example, i haven't checked the numbers). The point is she might be bigger somewhere else that we don't know. Remember the time when Pink earned $80 million tour grossed in Australia (almost 70% percentage of her tour gross during Funhouse era)? And Funhouse sold like 800k there (which is a very rare case)
In other words, the evidence you brought for the debate is weak and i know mediatraffic is not accurate, but at lease it is more reliable than the estimation you made based on just 3 markets. And i don't think Ariana's stans have to explain it to anyone because at least they have a source that is relevant for us-ATRL-ers as we always use mediatraffic from day 1. If you want to prove them wrong, you're the one who needs to come up with a better source/evidence.

You don't understand how tiny and frontloaded markets aisde from the major markets are. If she's selling 7k in the US where she promoted, she isn't going to be moving more than half of that in countries that are not major music markets and are more reliant on streaming than the United States. It's just not how it works.
It's not even just Ariana - 5H's recent numbers have been similarly dubious. Drake's numbers in this update don't check out to me either.

Okay, but even if the US, UK, and Japan are the biggest markets, they're only three markets. It's not that hard to believe that 64 percent of Ariana's sales this week are coming from all the other countries in the world. Also, just because the US is the biggest music market, doesn't mean it's Ariana's biggest market at any given time. Dangerous Woman is underperforming in America (Donutgate is probably a factor), but it happens to be doing relatively well in other countries. The album has gone top ten in 30 international charts, top five in 20, and number one in 11 so far. I highly doubt this Mediatraffic person, who has been doing these charts for years, is a secret Ariana stan with an agenda to inflate her sales. Ariana just happens to be global.

Stop. The world doesn't revolve around those three countries only. You're just pressed that our fave is actually selling globally.

And how is it holding up now? It's tumbling down the sales charts in every single market. Which is why these sales do not make any sense.
And I know they aren't secret Ariana stans... which is why I explained that Ariana isn't the only act with suspicious mediatraffic updates.

She's #47 in south korea this week. China isn't a big album market by any stretch.
It just doesn't add up.

Every SINGLE market? What a big FAT lie.
Yes it is tumbling down in SOME FEW countries but not anywhere. You're really pressed that you're even spitting those lies.

She sold 7k in US because she flopped there and everybody agrees with that. That doesn't mean she flopped in other countries too. I haven't done research but i just use a same example: the album sold 7k in US this week and fell to #31, however, it might stay at #3 in Brazil and sold 3k there. I mean, the album might be a success elsewhere.

Use this example, the album could sell like 5k there and stay at #1. Even though the sales there is much lower than US, 5k is not totally impossible considering Twain is one of the biggest market in Asia.
