And I never talked about sexual stuff. Who wants Nicki to be seen as a sex object anyway? Lauryn isn't a sex object AND is respected. It's about adjusting her style in general, not just looks.

And let's not act like Nicki didn't "tone it down" in 2013 to be taken more seriously.

Nicki wasn't over, it's just she wanted to make more Urban music and Urban radio was like "new phone, who dis?" so she had to do all of those features to regain a presence on the format.

Sorry your argument doesn't quite make sense to me. Nicki is a pop star who appeals to females and gays. She appeals to the same demographic as any other pop star.

Nicki is a sex symbol. She built her brand on it. She's also cooky. She toned it down because the world was over the antics. She is still sexual as seen in Anaconda.

You want her to be something she's not. I never starting stan for her because she's the new Lauryn. I stan for Roman, Barbie, Nicki Lewinsky, Nicki Minaj. That's who she is and will forever be.
