VERY cute, her little giggle at the start especially. Probably another victim of overly long Kelis song length but it's pleasant enough. It's catchy enough to not completely bore you. It's a little clunky but still very pretty. It could've gone a bit further than this, I'm not seeing how anyone could hate this.
No snark, a nice paragraph from Diarrhoea, "The cackle at the start alone makes any score below a 6.5 invalid! Also, I really feel like ditching the Neptunes really opened up her production up a bit, even though they experimented with hip-hop it always basically amounted to D&B-lite, electronics, and maybe some strings. This song is given a lot more room to breathe, and the drum really adds a nice tone to it. If this were on her first three albums it'd probably be suffocated, I think that even though it isn't the best on KWH this is one of the songs which best shows off its relative strengths."

Ironic that a song called Attention commands so little of it. Definitely a lowlight on the album, but still not awful. It's definitely the worst of the Saadiq tracks on the album but there's one song worse than it that isn't the intro. Could'e left even earlier tbh.
HonourableVomit brands it "as filler as filler gets." Fair enough.

I am disgusted. To see this tumble as the last few votes came in, I won't forgive. How aren't you charmed by that guitar? The verses building that tempo and the repetition done right. CLEAR victim of album bias! I should've tossed those TRASH ballots.
Diarrhoea can do my eulogy, "The return of Kelis 'Grindcore' Rogers! Not quite as satisfying as Perfect Slay, but perhaps the least reductive thing will.i.am has ever done in his life. That said, the fact that INXS didn't sue them for sampling this song in the chorus is staggering."

Campily enjoyable but really it's not the best. Definitely a more middling song, the production is kind of catchy and I can even bop to this every now and then but it's just completely surrounded by so many better tracks that it sticks out even more. The little effects that come in are cute though and the spoken part... definitely gave it another point from me.
Despite his 7.5, Diarrhoea lashes a bit, "The middle eight is actually really annoying, go away. The chorus kinda redeems it, but the production is kinda uninspired."

Now this is truly done wrong. I've had it. Yes it's dated and messy but it's so much fun to just shout out and sing along, mimicking Kelis' little vocal hiccups and inflections along the way. ****ing prudes always ruining everything. This was the second single from the album but it really didn't do much chart-wise anywhere. The worst part is not that it left here but that it's so superior to the other Nas collab but that one still remains in and not out in the bottom 10 somehow.
If you weren't already tired of me going on, here's Diarrhoea with the honest truth: "Why do people act like KWH is her mellowing down too much? If anything it's her fiercest album, and this is probably the most obvious example! The fact that it completely bombed is a mess and a half, the production is a bit intimidating but she sings for her life and this is the best Nas has ever sounded on their many collaborations - they really bought out the best in each other, RIP "
