I know that but as you say, an artist is independent when "He/she releases music by him/herself or with the help of a small label" which is something she just did with Any Other Day
To be honest....
I can't think of any way Hilary Duff can return to music without flopping....
Her career already peaked... There is no Disney to save her and she is in an independent label...

Hollywod Record killed Stranger by not sending it to radios. It has such huge potential
Exactly. Not having the song a radio adds date was a HUGE mistake, then they only had her do one performance for the song to promote it. All Hilary needs is promo for her music career. We all know that she is not a Beyonce or Justin Timberlake, she has to actually have promo for her music.
