Literally I think this is how the voting went:

- Actors log into their accounts and go to Academy to vote in each category
-Skip through most categories except for big awards like Best Actor, Picture, Director
-Get to Best Song
-See 'James Bond'
-Oh that won last time, should vote for that
-Don't bother listening to any other songs

Not like listening to TIHTY would have helped Gaga's case though

I can't explain Godga losing other than Sam Smith's song was bigger and in a huge movie compared to a small documentary no one had seen and that they might have been put off by how desperate Diane was. She deserved it too. Who knows if she will ever be nominated again? More sad that she lost than Godga tbh.
