Lots of meetings, discussions, research...there isn't necessarily a single strategy to it, but I'd wager they go with groups the overwhelming amount of the time because they're more profitable
I can definitely see it - she'd be the leader, main dancer and a lead vocalist. A Kahi tea. Would have been a slay, but I'm still more happy we got her as a solo artist.

Not necessarily, Taeyeon's lead last year sold 1.5 mil, Shake It/TMB both sold around 1.2
It'll be a close race digitally but Taeyeon's always had longevity
