I don't think Change will be a hit, and I kind of don't want it to be on the album since it's a charity single. I feel like that would ruin what it's meant to do. So I hope they don't wait until the end of its charity run to release the lead single. It actually might give Change a boost if she releases the real lead single like next month. It's been way too long since she's released an album!
I hope whatever she's been working on is on the level of Stripped or Back to Basics. Bionic was cute, but a lot of it didn't hold up as well as those 2 albums. Lotus wasn't a bad album, but I just felt like it was watered down for something of her standard. She's capable of a lot and sometimes I think she focuses too much on a theme or a direction instead of just giving us something raw and real. That's where she shines the most. Songs like Change are why I fell in love with her. It's real, it's emotional and she shines on it. Idk. Sorry for rambling. Lol. Change just made me even thirstier for new music.
