It's not that his rap appeals to several demographics it's that he's harmless and kind of corny in the sense that he's "down" enough for white girls to feel "cool" for listening to him without feeling intimidated or threatened by his material.
Of course a rapper making a bunch of soft ass lovey dovey songs would appeal to a larger demographic than a rapper rapping about actual hardcore things. Big whoop
There are plenty of rappers whose music appeals to other demographics, they just aren't as "safe".
