TWICE is already top tier. No doubt they are this generation's SNSD

I don't see Red Velvet becoming huge. They will be another f(x) = 2nd tier with great music and visuals but not more.

GFRIEND will be competing with Twice for top tier

RV felt more top tier last year when you couldn't escape the clutch of Ice Cream Cake. Their last two comebacks have felt mediocre at best. But their advantage is that SM is really good at making each group member famous as an individuals. Compared to everyone in this thread, I'm pretty intermediate when it comes to K-Pop. I can name everyone in SNSD, RV and FX. I couldn't name anyone in Twice (except Momo and Tzuyu) or GFRIEND.

Twice is having a buzz right now but I think only time will tell if they're here to stay

And I completely agree on ikon and winner. Their music is garbage

Every-time I say I am a casual listener of kpop (leaving out stan btw) I get the same judgement as weaboos do. It's a lot worse with the posters and physical albums.

Lovelyz releasing when Twice did was not the best decision. And although Destiny is great, it doesn't have the catchiness/charm that Ah Choo had.

It'll be also harder to ride on Ah Choo's success because they released a single album before this recent comeback, which also prob wasn't the best decision. They should of capitalized on Ah Choo's sleeper hit status and do a full on super comeback with a mini/full album but they released a low key single instead.

Also Ooh Ahh and Cheer up are so TWICE branded but Ah choo feels kinda separate from 'Lovelyz'
