Hillary needing that section of the vote is vastly overrated. She's 12 points up in the polls against Trump. I think the important voters have came around.

I think people confuse the BernieBros on Twitter for the 12M people who voted for him in the primaries.

It's hard to answer this question without knowing which group you're actually referring to. For those Twitter stans, none. For the 12M people who voted for him (most are Democrats for life who just wanted something new), that I don't know. She needs to rally the Independents vote the most however.

You're right, the vast majority of the people who voted for Bernie are not #BernieOrBust. Most people I know just wanted to vote for someone to push Hillary to go further left. I think the optics issue is that the people who ARE #BoB are mainly independent millennials, which affects social media more

Well it all depends on all of the other voting demographics that will determine how much of the Independent vote she needs.

But just food for thought: Hillary is losing Independents to Trump right now by 4-5, but is still +8-12 points up nationally. For past presidential elections with that margin, that usually indicates a 400+ electoral college.

And yeah someone like Elizabeth Warren would get the progressive Independents excited, but the moderate and conservative ones may be turned off.

Hmm. I wouldn't really trip. Hillary is the top ticket so moderates will flock to her. Conservatives will vote Republican no matter what.

Her focus should be more on building that demographic coalition rather than idealogical groups. And Trump is making it easier by insulting her four main targets (AA, Hispanic, women, millennials)
