Still reading stuff, the first island is called "Melemele" which is translated to Yellow, so a poster has guessed the other islands be called Omaoma (green), Polu (Blue) and Ulaula (Red).

Although to contrast what I said earlier, Wikipedia's entry on a Mongoose states "The mongoose was introduced to Hawaii in the mid-19th century in an attempt to control the large rat population in the sugar cane fields."

Lillie upon introduction and in the stream especially was emphasized to not like or participate in battling. I doubt she has the starter.

I'm really interested in how hard they emphasized public battle arenas. I think this might point to gyms also being arenas, and no longer being confined to towns. It makes the map make more sense with its lack of gym-looking facilities.
