Ok but it's not easier, it's literally the game recording the results of your trial and error, just like how you'd have to figure out type weaknesses of an unfamiliar pokemon anyways
Y'all gonna complain about the "It's not/super effective!" text after every move making the game easier next? Cuz they serve the same function.

LOVE the new forms for the legendaries, makes them look much better. Like how they incorporate clouds/crepuscular rays/moon halos in their designs
