Drake's next album is going to huge numbers especially in the first week. If Lil Wayne could do it at his peak, Drake certainly will this month.

I don't think it's as easy as that.

Both Bey and Drake did a surprise release as their most recent release.

Bey stopped the world, and did a million in a 7 day period, something that Drake has never done.

Drake's surprise release did about a half-million in 2015, which was a number outdone by Bey's 3 day period after her drop. I'd say that's a fair an indication of their album selling power (Bey definitely ahead)

Album sales have decreased since then, and I think both will clean up and am excited for both and will definitely buy and stream both, Bey has the leg up if they both do a normal drop though.

I'm sure they have been talking though and have set aside time for each of them to properly shine, as they should.

Bey sold more with self-titled because everyone was shocked that she surprise-released, which is something no one has ever done before. With Hotline Bling and all, D rake will probably sell higher, atleast in the US.

Idk Bey has 1m+ fans waiting on a tour. They will definitely buy the album so they can know the words. I think Bey is gonna do huge number her first week (if she doesn't do a Tidal exclusive)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think she may have had a boost from the surprise release method for her first week numbers, but the album went on to sell a decent amount after that, so it's not like all the album's sales were hype, there were a ton of people that were just ready for a new album from her.

And even 4, which leaked well in advance of the album did solid numbers though, Beyoncé is an album seller and is strong there, and has a dedicated fan base that will turn out for her.

Drake's had a couple hits, and has a solid base also and a lot of commercial power also. I just see her coming out on top if they were to release at the same time. I don't think it will be a huge gap like some are saying, if they aren't Tidal and Apple Exclusives of course
