HBO won't release descriptions of final 2 episodes

The Game of Thrones season 6 finale is not only the longest episode of the show yet, it’s also the most mysterious.

HBO just put out its usual release announcing the next two episodes of the hit show – in this case, the finale two of the season, “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter.” Except there is one major component missing from the release: There are no episode descriptions. Not even the usual ultra-cryptic ones.

The move represents the network’s latest unusual step in Thrones ultra-secrecy. Even the on-screen cable programming guides are not expected to have descriptions – only the episode’s title, writer, and director credits. (The “leaked” season finale description that some sites reported wasn’t real.) The final two episodes are both written by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, and directed by Miguel Sapochnik (who helmed last season’s “Hardhome”).

Well... in the end Arya actually learned how to kill her enemies and hide herself from them, so her plot with Jaquen and Waif wasn't really a waste. I need Claganebowl and LSH tho!

Hopefully them not releasing the descriptions means we're in for lots of surprises and twists. I have high hopes.

Both are never going to happen and this last episode pretty much shut down both, especially Cleganebowl.

Our theories about Arya were false after all. But did you guys pay attention to what Jaqen said? That she's finally no one. Was it all a test? It's like he knew what would happen.

I can't wait for next week's episode.

And the battle that's happening in Meereen is supposed to be one of the two wars in the beginning of WoW. We'll continue their story at Episode 10 which is titled after the book itself

True i just hope it's executed well because ngl the trailer for episode 9 did nothing for me

So many theories about what happened to Arya in the previous episode, that there was more than meets the eye, all because we didn't want to believe that she was just stupid enough to strut around Braavos and get herself stabbed.

I didn't even get the epic fight scene between Arya and The Waif that I wanted. And I couldn't enjoy the chase scene because she was shanked in the last episode and it wasn't just some fake-out, she really was stabbed, and yet was still able to out-run and hide from an expert assassin.

This season has really fallen off its wheels. The direction has gotten so terrible. These last two episodes better scalp me.

I'm salty that Lady Stoneheart is definitely not happening. Not with how long it's taking the story to develop. And Tyrion has become such a boring character.

If the spoilers about Tommen committing suicide, which drives Cersei mad and causes her to burn down Kings Landing are true, and next episode is exclusively focusing on the battle at Winterfell, then they have like 2 episodes to do a LOT of plot development ... he seems absolutely fine at the moment, so how are they going to develop such a dire situation for him that death seems like the best option in 1 episode?, not to mention they already have a LOT of the KL storyline to wrap up, ie Loras' and Cersei's trials . I'm scared the wheels are falling off of this season after such a strong start

Cersei never did anything personally to Arya, but she definitely is at least partly responsable for the death of the butcher's boy, Lady, Ned & for the disappearance of Nymeria.

Maybe Tommen is brainwashed by the Faith to a really large degree, so he will kill himself out of loyalty instead of depression. We have already seen in a few episodes now that the Faith has a mental hold on him. The question, though, is what would be the event that drives him to suicide?

I also think the trials won't actually happen. Maybe Cersei will burn everything to the ground before the scheduled trials happen.
