Okay, in response to the thing with
25... First of all, I think they let Columbia have way too much control with everything this time around, because obviously their top priority was promotion in the US. Whether or not that influenced the more pop direction she took on the album, I don't know, and I'm not complaining because I loved every song on
25. But it's definitely a possibility. And regardless, it was a big mistake letting them have more control, because XL handled most of
21, and look how well that album did. I don't know why they would want to stray from that too much. I can't see her sound changing that much, though. She's always made pop music, and she's always made soul music, but I think the pressure to follow up
21 definitely made the pop sound a lot more prominent, because it was easier and safer (not that that's a bad thing at all). But she knows what her general demographic is and she's not going to stray from that too much.
Secondly... I'm glad you had fun, Cockney! What would you say were the highlights of the concert? That's a shame about the merchandise! That's why I'm buying everything before (although I don't wanna carry that stuff around, I'll suck it up for Adele). That's really amazing, though!

I'm so happy for you!
