One of the survivor's wife died, and so did their new-born baby. Then years following escaping he developed a drug addiction and almost died, and then years following he realized he was gay then contracted HIV in the 80s.
Poor guy. Jonestown, wife and kid died, drug addiction, and HIV yet he's still surviving.
