Their site is a joke and the rushed review ethics is one of the reasons why MC is barely accurate in terms of album acclaim. ANTI is definitely more than the score it was given.
it's obvious that they didn't really listen to the album, or carefully critique it. They're probably just frantically shrieking in the boardroom - trying to find ways to discredit an amazing, progressive, album from a talented black female singer.
If it was reviewed now, or re-reviewed the score would be guaranteed higher. It was pretty much a grower album and not many people were used to/expected the content on it from her I suppose.
3/5 is still too low though. That's still in the 60/mixed range.
