But as an artist, she doesn't interest me at all the way Kelly Clarkson does. For example.

In fact, I only started listening to Britney two years ago and I never heard her during her peak years as a kid (not that I was ignorant of anything but I just didn't like her; I preferred the Backstreet Boys at the time).

I knew of her but I had chosen not to listen to her. That's I mean.

Plus growing up, I was exposed to metal, R&B, hip hop and rock more than pop. I got into BSB by buying the Millenium album after hearing I Want It That Way on the radio and the rest is history.

I never bought into the whole Britney craze in the 90s/00s.
