Yeah but the music video for Paparazzi was shot 5 months before the single was actually released in the US. I just don't see how there will be time for all that this time around if she's doing a full length proper album. But this is all just if she plans a 2010 release date. Otherwise I don't see why there won't be 4 singles.

There will be time for her to do a third album late 2010 because she's already working on it (OOC is rumoured to be on it amgz).

That could be the case, it depends on what the third Album is like. If it is very similar to TFM then people might get bored of her. She could also burn out if she is over-working simply to release an album this year. I think most of her fans would be happy to wait a while longer if she needed to take some time off. Rihanna released her first 3 albums back to back, but she didn't have the same level of success single-wise... I guess we'll see how things develop during the next few months. In the music industry you never know what is going to happen.

That single period was true for the singles of The Fame, but Bad Romance & Telephone overlapped each other:

1 Bad Romance: October / February (The song will probably ware off by the end of the month)
2 Telephone: November (thank radio for this) / March (It's been out for so long already, that's why the video needs to be released soon!)
3 Alejandro: end of March / August
4 Monster: August / October

I know that was the planned add date, but radio added it around Thanksgiving in New York. Just showing that sometimes radio add dates are irrevelant for popular artists.

I would be content if "Telephone" was her last single this era if she plans on coming back with a new album 4th Q this year around like September because the more singles she releases from TFM means the longer we'd have to (or should have to) wait for a new album.

I think she should have at least a 5-6 month break between her last TFM single and her new album's first single because

Although plans have changed before, Paparazzi was planned as the 3rd US single but that changed to LoveGame and Speechless was planned as the 2nd single but that changed too.

Anyway please please don't say anything anywhere on the 3rd single if you do know. I don't want radio jumping on it now and then getting sick of it when it's really released, which is what could still happen to Telephone because they announced it too early

I agree but staying around too long can hurt her as well, and I see the The Fame/Fame Monster eras as just one so that's a big reason why I don't want her to over-extend herself with much more singles...

she needs to take a decent length break, not too long or too short, to stay relevant without overexposing herself. like katy perry; it's been a decent length break since starstrukk (the US flop) and decent size hit waking up in vegas, so when she comes around this year with her new single we'll be excited for new music from her.

it was ok with gaga for TFM because she was following up on the hype of paparazzi, and the vma performance helped her. plus holiday sales helped too. the only problems with her doing that were paparazzi/badromance/telephone singles overlapping each other, but for the most part it worked out. i don't want to see her do this again though. after her fourth single she needs to take a break and dominate with a new album in 2011.

i'm not comparing her with katy perry. i was just using an example of how taking a break around a year or less is actually helpful. by the way, katy perry is an amazing artist, don't talk trash about her album. if i used justin timberlake as an example of someone taking a break, you probably would've said i was comparing her to him too?
