What kind of music did you expect from Nicki after PF:RR? Did you expect her to become a full-time Pop star? Or continue releasing albums like PF:RR (half Pop, half Hip-Hop)? Or did you expect her to go back to her roots?

It's really strange how I don't remember ever thinking about that back then, so I'm asking what you guys thought.

I've always liked Urban Nicki more though, so I'm glad she did what she did.

I don't remember thinking about it back then. But I was very glad when she went a bit back to her roots with The Re-Up.

I thought she would go pop and make dance tracks for her 3rd album. But the backlash made her change directions IMO

She really did like the pop tracks but backlash and self realization made her go back to what she dose best. She made a lot of money on super bass and starships and she love the songs. But her rapping is more authentic to her

Idk... She loves Pop, but I definitely think she went too far with PF:RR and would've regretted it either way. People were forgetting who Nicki actually was.

Her pop music made her really global tho. Like Nicki said she doesn't regret how she went because it opened doors for her.

And didn't someone in here said if Nicki Minaj doesn't attend the bet awards that's a sign she isn't winning anything. Well it would be very awkward for her to not to attended since she attend every year since 2010.
