Sorry, but there is absolutely nothing exciting and jawdropping about any of her concerts. Yeah, we know she can sing, but that isn't going to last forever (see Mariah).
When I want to go to a POP concert, I want a cohesive storytelling show. Not just leotards and long weave. There is nothing that separates FWT from any other past Beyonce tour.
And I agree, and have stated Beyonce's weakness is her concerts (right now, black women & black gays are loyal to a fault), but had she had Madonna's creative vision, she would rightfully surpass Madonna as the best concert performer of all time.
But right now, i'm just not see any progress towards that.
Again, sorry.

Actually it will (see Aretha).
Ya. I love cohesive storytelling shows. I would just prefer that they're a feature and not a crutch.
Whew! That Run trailer takes me back. I really love the story interwoven throughout the tour (even launched as a precursor to the tour). So glad Beyonce has, once again, proven she can do whatever Madonna can.
And it's quite the opposite, Beyonce's strength is her concerts. Her core audience doesn't thrive on lengthy narratives, it's not why they go to see her. With songs like Single Ladies, Formation, and Drunk In Love, they just want to go sing and dance. Like with MJ and Tina. Your stance that Madonna's performance style is the pinnacle of musical concerts is a bit of a biased mess.
At least I can acknowledge some people are into big production, while others prefer to do without. It's about knowing your audience. And Bey definitely knows hers.
