I mean they need to release a full main series title under a console, not really a battle simulator type game. Or a scaled down RPG like the Colleseum games. Pokemon has more then enough are to be able to pull off a successful sand box styled RPG.

But as I say this I realize that Nintendo's handhelds sell more then their consoles, as well as Sony and Microsofts consoles. So let's forget this

I agree, but I'm just a little worried that Nintendo and GameFreak are hesitant to do anything like this.

The smart move would to be to release a main series title with compatibility to the generation in which it is released and with fully explorable versions of every region - HGSS Johto/Kanto, the Sevii Islands, Platinum Sinnoh, ORAS Hoenn, B2W2 Unova, and Kalos along with the new one from that generation.

Such a bold and expansive move might really draw a lot of positive attention.

Actually I'd take another game like Colosseum/GoD all day. They can easily make some obvious improvements on that style and I'm sure it'll turn out a pretty good game, and still manage to not overshadow the handheld titles, imo.

I'm hoping Nintendo will put out an RPG that's fully 3D, instead of this pseudo top down view we have. I want to rotate the damn camera!

Maybe with the NX, since it's supposed to be the bridge between handheld and console. C'mon Nintendo, treat your next console better!
