No. When there is a presumptive nominee, he should come out in full support of that nominee. "Presumptive nominee" means that barring some cataclysmic event - be that indictment or death - that person IS and WILL BE the nominee with absolute certainty.
More importantly, Sanders should drop out tomorrow night, so when Obama endorses isn't an issue. He can wait until California comes in if he wants to be cute, but the reality is that she will have clinched the nomination in both overall delegates as well as pledged delegates tomorrow night. He needs to drop out - Hillary was far closer to winning in 2008 than he is now - just 62 or so pledged delegates short - and she dropped out rather quickly afterward.
