Here's my story. I've been friends with this guy for over a year, we met last year because we had a lot of classes together and we studied together. As we got closer we hang out a lot all day everyday he would buy me food and drinks and if I got cold he would give me his jacket :Jhonny: He would always look out for me and nurture me and help me out if I needed anything, he was such a good friend. I started to get feelings for him but I suppressed them cause I thought he was straight. One time we were getting drunk and he came out to me as gay I did the same thing and I admitted I had a huge crush on him his response " oh wow I didn't think you were gay too, you're a great guy but I'm not into black guys" I was just like "oh" and I fell asleep. Things were kinda awkward between us for a few days but We eventually put it behind us and we're still great friends it just sucks that I was rejected for my race and not even given a chance :Jhonny: I really thought he liked me but I guess he was just being a real good friend

I can see why you think that but he explained it wasn't a racism thing, he just only likes white guys ( he's white as well). I know for a fact he's not racist because he's involved in a lot of Social justice activities and he hates racism and is actually a feminist. What would you had done sis?

Why are you still friends with someone like that? That's not a preference either that's completely ruling out any PoC. Also why tf would he tell you that?

I know what you mean. I had a crash like 3 years ago on smb and since then we've experienced life and we've been through so much (each on his own, since nothing happened). We're in the same class, final year in 3 months, however he thinks I hate him or that I'm generally disgusted by him which was never the case. We are always having fights. We haven't been talking to each other since the last 2 months. I guess it's better this way. We never worked out as a couple (he said to me he is straight, he knows about all my feelings, etc.) but we also never worked as friends. I guess some things are never meant to be.

Oh my gosh the mess i was in this year with a guy that showed interest in ME first.

There was this lightskin boy, gorgeous guy, amazing body. He was new and at the beginning of the year he glanced a little at me and i noticed his face and thought "hey he is kinda cute". WELL, as the year progressed he continously kept on glancing at me. Would stare at me too. One time i was sitting in a booth behind him for breakfast and he kept turning around looking at me and i acted like he wasnt there but i kept on seeing it. One time i was using the restroom and got pee shy so did not pee for a little while. He was trying to go to but couldnt go either so this boy just casually sits up against the wall and RIGHT when i am done get out of the stalls he leaves. I remember one time during a Pep Rally we sat not far from each other and he kept on looking at me and ugh, i have never had someone look at me that much. You would NEVER expect him to be gay, but i found out he is an a**hole and plays with too many girls. Could be a sign he is trying to convert himself and have sex with a lot of girls. OR he is bi. OR he is confused. OR he is just an a**hole.
