i dont get this discussion with her being worse this tour
i've seen her once this tour, in Stockholm. it was MINDBLOWING honestly. everyone else there and all reviews said that aswell.
there's alot with the 19 and 21 era i like more, but her voice is considerably more impressive this time around, esp when comparing with Royal albert hall.
but i love her tone during 19 tho, that vibrato
she's been getting rave reviews from EVERY single show this tour, and i've not heard anyone complain...until now.
persoanlly, i prefer the theatre-black clad souly Adele as the artist, but she masters this tour so great, makes it so intimate, funny and she, again, sings perfect...
everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i dont see reason for complaints.
i agree with maddox and the other "new" member, i want her to stay at XL and take a more risky, indie "XL-ish" route the next time around!
i'm so eager to see how she'll do Glastonbury!

Sooo true, it should've been on the album instead of remedy.
Also Rumor Has It >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Remedy, Ryan failed this time.

Two days ago I had a dream that she announced new EU dates for the tour and I bought 3 tickets to see her somewhere in Scotland and in London
I have 25, bought it on release day, but I'm looking forward to purchase 21 and 19 aswell and the vinyl editions too. Too bad dis bitch doesn't have a merchandise store (does she?), I'd buy the Verona litho at least

Like blackbeat said, her audience is leaning more towards females than males. Age wise I think its all over the place, but a bit heavier probably on the older crowd as in 30+

First of all, in response to Ichi earlier on... Good luck coming out! I know you can do it. I'm sure your friends will be supportive. If they really love you, they still will and will support you. Besides, I would guess that your sexuality does not affect your friendships anyways. They should be supportive and I'm sure they will be!
Now, in response to this huge debate going on at the moment... In my opinion, I love Adele's voice now and I think it's great. Yes, she's sounded pitchy before, but what singer hasn't? I know she was sick during some of her performances on those European shows she was on, and I thought she was sick during the NRJ Awards. (That being said, she was also sick during her Church Studios session and she SLAYED those performances.) And "All I Ask" at the Grammys got destroyed by technical problems. So, we do need to cut her some slack there. We're lucky her voice is still intact after all the vocal issues she had during the 21 era. Not to mention the songs on the new album are, overall, a lot more difficult to sing, and she still slays all of the songs she does on tour.
In regards to the music itself, as previously noted, it was kind of in her best interest to have some more pop-influenced material on the album. Although it was a relatively safe sound, in a sense it was risky because so many of her fans loved her before for her soulful ballads. She's evolved a lot, and I personally love the sound. I know not everyone will, but I'm fine with it because it's still authentic, and Adele herself has said that she wants to be able to make music in general rather than limit herself to one genre. In her 60 Minutes Australia interview, she referenced how she didn't want to have one sound, like how 21 was very 60s-influenced. On this record, there's modern pop, there's 70s disco pop influence, there's acoustic stuff, there's a little bit of everything, and I think that's good. It totally worked.
We should also be thankful that fame hasn't changed her. Yeah, she doesn't wear wigs anymore and she wears the same dress every night, but that was her choice. The dress is because of the DVD, mostly (and it probably makes things easier for her). That's probably why the hair is the same, too. But if you listen to her on stage and in interviews and stuff, she has not changed at all. She's one of the most humble celebrities in the world, and she's also one of the most successful. To be able to be both is incredibly difficult, so overall, I think we're pretty blessed to have a fave as amazing as her.

But, I think 25 is a more cohesive album not to mention she experiments with different sounds ( pop, gospel, eletronic) and genera's while 21 IMO mostly stayed around the ear of piano ballads

First off thanks I appreciate it, and I did to my friends at least and it seems like it went pretty good
Anyways I agree. No one is saying Adele isn't pitchy, because she is sometimes, however this doesn't make her a bad singer by any means. And yes I'm not sure why this Grammys performance is being used against her, honestly when I watched it I thought it was fine and great besides the piano noises being messed up. Also thanks to the members who tone it down when needed
One other thing I want to add is that lets try and not be all "nostalgic" in that everything in the past must be better than what it is like today. Adele has changed in certain aspects but this change doesn't necessarily mean its a bad thing. Anyways not trying to say you can't like something more from her other albums, but just try and be fair with your judgement.

I agree! Thats why Adele is able to sell so much ! Just saying where her crowd is leaning a bit more towards to, but this is just my observation/guess haha. I can't wait to see her I didn't even think about it really but I realized its only 3 months away now which is a bit of a shock

Of course! I'm glad that it went well!
Exactly. I mean, Adele herself has admitted to being pitchy. But even the greats have their moments of weakness. No one is perfect; if she's a little pitchy, so be it. She's still better than 95% of her peers anyways. Yeah, it would've been fine if it wasn't for the issue with the piano. You could tell she lost her composure towards the end when her voice cracked once, but trust me... I've dealt with sound issues on stage before that contributed to nerves as well, so it was understandable that she kind of panicked when she realized the microphone fell into the piano.
Yeah, we all need to be civil with each other when having different opinions from someone else! It's okay to have different opinions, but it's not okay to make them feel bad for having a different opinion than yours.
And I agree entirely! (Again!) People change, and Adele is no different. People change in good and bad ways, and I don't necessarily think that her change was bad at all. I actually like it. Musically, she's changed, so some fans will obviously be turned off. There's a big shift between 19 and 25, but I feel like she's only grown from where she was on each album in terms of production and sound. It's evolved a lot, and it's natural for any artist to do that. The important thing is that she's still the same Adele that we all love.

Hi everyone
I´m 29 i´m a girl and i live in Austria. I discoverd Adele in 2011 and fell deeply in love with her!!! I´ve spent months on youtube to see every interview and hear every song she has ever done! I just love that girl.
2 weeks ago i went to zurich and saw her live for the first time, and she blew me away.
I was staring at her like an idiot and couldn´t believe she´s really just a few meters away from me.
I could actually feel her voice in my bones and by the time she did Sweetest Devotion i was in tears. But what shocked me the most was her beautiful face!
No picture or video or even the huge screen behind her can compare to her real beauty.
It was the best night ever and as soon as i figure out how to upload my videos to youtube in less than 1000 hours i will post the links here.
Sorry for the long post and my ****** english
I´m just happy after 5 years of lurking i´m finally here and I have no idea what to do so please bear with me

Hello! I can't believe I can finally write here. I've been reading this thread almost daily for the past year, without being able to say anything (which was pretty frustrating, especially since Adele came back). But whatever, I'm here now, after waiting for an entire week to get my code by email.
For a quick introduction, I'm 18 years old, I'm French Canadian (which may explain why, if I can quote Ushi, my "En-lish is not so very good". I'm a student in languages, I just finished college last month.
I'm a stan of Adele since mid-2011, I just love everything about her, from her voice, to her music, to her charisma, to everything possible. She's for sure the best pop singer right now, without a doubt. My life is way better since she came back. I missed her so much.
Can't wait to know you better.
