That's when she decided to take lessons in an attempt to try to sing them.
So, I suppose when she recorded you'll See ,she hadnt started working on her voice ,although she does sound different from Bedtime Stories.

I'm trying to make a list of five songs for the question that @Humor asked but I cannot. I'd want them to be given as much of a diversity of her music as possible and that's not even possible w/o listing a minimum of seven songs.

Do you know where the interview is? The only one I know about is the one where she initially went in to put down vocals and the entire orchestra was there, and that made her nervous because she wasn't used to recording with live instrumentation and she cried over it. Otherwise, I believe Madonna was pragmatic enough to know as soon as she began lobbying for the part that she needed to do some work.

By guys I just join today! I've been standing for Madonna since the past two years. I've always known she was a legend but never got into her discography till recently I really don't have a favorite Madonna album or single because she has so many amazing albums. But I'm partial to like a virgin

I don't remember exactly . I think she speaks briefly about this on her 'Evita Diaries'.
But the interview where she speaks about it in details I don't remember exactly
But I do remember she clearly saying she went home and cried her eyes out like a baby all night long because she wanted that role more than anything in her life but she realized her voice couldn't reach all the notes and everything .
So,in the next morning , she decided to do what she did and it actually took her a couple of months of intensive training ,etc
