We all know Beyonce did not conceptualize the videos, storylines, etc. and had writing camps for all of the music. Even the poetry she read (after how many takes? I wish we could hear her original attempts before someone literate came in to correct her pronunciation) was written by someone else. All she did was take direction from other people.
If that's what it takes to successfully merge ART into POP then maybe FadGa should take notes?

Lady Gaga would have slayed the visual surprise album concept. If she had done that with ARTPOP she would've made it 3x more iconic and would have legitimately changed the game.

NONE would've cared if she surprise released in 2013, everybody was already over her at that point. 2011, sure, not in 2013. Would've done slightly better than it did but nothing compared to BEYONCÉ.
