There's some people who just listens to pop artists and genuinely have no clue about who's who in Hip Hop or the contributions involved so they just assume they aren't legends because they don't sell as much as someone like Taylor Swift. The "i'm from this obscure area so therefore I haven't heard of him which doesn't make him a legend" thing is also an entertaining thing to witness. It's just how this site is with the demographics.

This is all true and it's pretty funny to hear even though it's really frustrating. You're right about the demographics of the site. I shouldn't expect anything less.
