K-pop is def super accessible. That's one of the reasons why it's so much more popular globally than J-pop. You can basically watch anything on youtube K-pop related. Endless amounts of sites and twitter/facebook/tumblr accounts. It's just everywhere really. J-pop though and their record labels are still very stubborn in terms of youtube stuff and just, technology all around. For example, sites like JPS are needed for it's international fanbase, because there's really nowhere else to get Japanese music and learn more about groups/artists except for tumblr/twitter but those are more cult fanbases and still not super accessible.
This is SO true. It's taking me forever to become a comitted J-Pop stan because of this.
