Ashanti never had a true hit in UK at all looking at the stats, so it makes sense y'all wouldn't remember her period.
For Ciara she literally only had 3 moderate hits (Goodies peaked #1 but only went #59 on 2005 UK Year End, and 1,2 Step peaked #3 and went #44 on the UK YE + Love, Sex, and Magic with JT). So maybe you'd be familiar with those songs, but yeah, not expecting you to be familiar with the artist behind it since she had no more sizable hits and her albums all bombed in UK.
